Centennial Birthday Celebrations of

Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj

Darshan Academies and Vidyalayas are hosting a variety of activities in honour of Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj’s centennial birthday (1921-1989). The schools are named after the great poet-saint who was a lighthouse of divinity and an embodiment of love.
The celebrations include each school’s planting 100 saplings, 100 minutes of meditation, creating a booklet of 100 self-composed poems, releasing 100 balloons, a cleanliness drive, design workshop and a poster and slogan writing competition. The schools are organizing a blood donation camp for the community in collaboration with the Red Cross or a government hospital.

As an ode to the great poet-saint, a Mushaira will be organised in which students will recite poems by Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj. Through his poems, we find that the spiritual Master embraced all, as he saw the light of God in everyone.
