Darshan Education Foundation successfully organized the National Level Librarians’ Workshop 2026 at Kirpal Ashram, Delhi, bringing together librarians from Darshan Academies across the country for three enriching days of learning, reflection, collaboration, and inspiration. Centred around the theme “The Reader Within,” the workshop reaffirmed the pivotal role of school libraries in nurturing lifelong readers and joyful learners.
The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Ashwani Sachdeva, President, Darshan Education Foundation, who highlighted the transformative role of school libraries in shaping curious, and lifelong learners. The inaugural session was further enriched by the inspiring keynote address of Dr. Dharamveer, President, All Media Library Association (AMLA), who encouraged librarians to reimagine libraries as dynamic centres of learning and creativity.
Through thought-provoking keynote sessions, interactive activities, storytelling, author interactions, library innovation, and collaborative action planning, participants explored fresh ideas to transform school libraries into vibrant learning spaces where every child can discover the joy of reading.
The workshop concluded with a motivating valedictory session by Dr. Rajesh, Manav Rachna University, and Dr. Salek Chand, President, LPA, inspiring participants to return to their schools with renewed enthusiasm and a strong commitment to strengthening the culture of reading.
