DEF National Workshop for Teachers IX to XII

Darshan Education Foundation is committed to quality education and overall growth of teachers. A one day workshop for Darshan Academy teachers teaching classes IX to XII was held on 11th August 2018. Ms Anjali Keswani, DA Delhi, Middle Wing Coordinator, welcomed all to the workshop. This was followed by an inspiring spiritual discourse by Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj and a meditation session. E.O. Dr Thakur addressed the gathering to let everyone understand the importance of collaborative learning and the significance of this workshop. E.O. Dr Khokhar highlighted how to bridge the gap between teaching and evaluation. The first session of the workshop centered on how to tackle challenging areas of the syllabus. All the teachers shared techniques to resolve difficulties. Teachers reviewed different assignments, activities, videos, and sample papers with their marking schemes, with the aim to improve the students’ performance. Revision schedule for grade IX to XII was focused on at length, along with ideas to enhance and improve performance. This was followed by an expert session, in which teachers discussed the types of questions expected in CBSE exams and tools for scoring maximum marks. The culmination of the workshop included a feedback session, in which one teacher from each subject group summarised the outcome of the workshop. DA Delhi Principal Mr A. David presented the vote of thanks and appreciated the participation of one and all.
