I am delighted to know that Darshan Education Foundation is organizing a seminar
on “Building Bridges through Education” on 27th Sept 2008. The seeds of peace in
the world have their origin in the righteousness in the heart of every individual.
Such righteous citizens lead to the evolution of an enlightened society. Education
with a value system has to be so designed that righteousness in the heart is developed
in young minds. That should be the mission of education. The prime learning environment
is five to seventeen years of age. This reminds me of an ancient Greek teacher saying,
“Give me a child for seven years, afterwards, let God or Devil take the child. They
cannot change the child.” This indicated the power of great teachers and what they
can inculcate in the young minds. I am sure, the seminar on “Building Bridges through
Education” will be addressing the promotion of such a society through holistic education.
My greetings and best wishes for all participants of the Seminar and success in
their mission of promoting value-based holistic education in our society.
Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Former President of India.

Congratulations to Darshan Education Foundation on the completion of its fifteen
years of service. I am glad to learn that you focus on the celebration of Human
spirit, as ultimately that is what really matters. It is not enough to know more
and do more and have more. All this must lead to becoming more, more human and more
compassionate. Completion of 15 years is a good opportunity to ensure that goal
is seen more clearly and pursued more zealously and effectively. I wish Darshan
Education Foundation all the best.

I am happy to learn that Darshan Education Foundation will be celebrating its 15th
Anniversary on 14th February, 2011. It is gratifying to note that the Foundation,
under the able guidance of Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, has established a chain
of seventeen schools in India and abroad imparting quality education by amalgamating
education with spirituality. Needless to say, this kind of approach to education
inculcates in young minds the good human values for which our civilization has been
known for centuries.

Darshan Education Foundation has involved itself in providing purposeful, holistic
education through a curriculum involving spirituality. Life without purpose is spiritless.
Spirituality provides beauty of heart and a clear mind. This beauty, truth, and
friendship are great virtues of life. Darshan Education Foundation aims to provide
this purpose in their educational system. After all, they have the blessings of
His Holiness Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, a renowned, distinguished scientist
and spiritual Master. I wish the foundation great success in their mission to create
young people who will contribute towards a peaceful, spiritual and knowledgeable
India and the world at large.
Prof. N. K. Bansal, Former Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University

I am glad to learn that the Darshan Education Foundation is organizing its fourth
Annual Seminar on the topic “United and Unique – Education for a Peaceful Planet”
on 26th Sept, 2009 at the Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi. I am very delighted to
know that this nonprofit organization, rendering its valuable services in the field
of education, is based on the values of love, unity and peace. This foundation provides
holistic education and is the pioneer in blending school education with a spiritual
curriculum to help every student reach his highest potential intellectually, physically,
emotionally and spiritually. No doubt the thousands of students who have passed
out of the portals of these institutions will be grateful to their Alma Mater for
the quality education of heart and mind they were privileged to receive. Best wishes
for the success of this seminar, and may the Lord of wisdom and knowledge help all
to live up to the motto “United and Unique – Education for a Peaceful Planet.”

I am pleased to know that the Darshan Education Foundation is organizing a Seminar
on the theme “United and Unique – Education for a Peaceful Planet” on 26th Sept,
2009 . As the world approaches the beginning of a new millennium, it is not surprising
that building a culture of peace will be a slow and uneven journey. In a way, education
and transformation for a culture of peace constitutes a challenge. My greetings
for all participants of the seminar and all best wishes to carry the message emanating
from the Seminar and cultural presentation far and wide.
Sh Jyotirditya M. Scindia Hon”ble Minister of State for Commerce & Industry,

Friends, every child when born, I believe, is a peace loving child. And it is we
who probably spoil his nature; it is we who take him to the wrong direction from
a peace-loving human being to a human being who starts believing in conflicts, believing
in hatred, and so on and so forth. And, therefore, education is the means which
will have to come in to correct the situation. I remember the famous sculptor of
Michelangelo. He created a beautiful statue, and a friend of his said, “Out of a
piece of stone you have created this beautiful statue.” The sculptor said, “This
statue was already within the stone. I have not created it. All I have done is,
I have chiseled off the undesirable pieces which were around the statue and which
were masking the statue.” I think, friends, in the same way, a child, who is born
by the kindness of God, is a peace loving child. In the name of education, we have
started believing in stuffing him with more and more information, rather than chiseling
him off to make sure he remains a peace loving person. If we give that holistic
shift to the educational paradigm, we believe we’ll be able to do much better. And
that seems to be the aim of Darshan Education Foundation. I compliment them for
their effort and believe that all of us should join hands to make it a grand success.
Prof. K. K. Aggarwal, Vice Chancellor, Guru Gobind Singh University .

I am glad to place it on record. To the extent of my information, Darshan Academy
schools are the first in the country that have realized the need of harmony through
education in today’s conflicted world and are inculcating the spirit of harmony
among the school children by including the subject of the spiritual curriculum in
all the schools being run by Darshan Education Foundation all over the country.
